The opportunity

This is far more than a traditional project management role. You won’t simply manage projects—you will help deliver the advanced manufacturing facilities and technologies that support the future of healthcare and Life Sciences across Europe.

Our projects are technically challenging, highly regulated and inherently innovative. They span the complete project lifecycle, from early concept and engineering through procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and operational readiness.

Success in this role requires someone who is equally comfortable leading executive discussions, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, reviewing technical deliverables, walking construction sites or helping a team overcome an unexpected challenge.

You will become a trusted partner to our customers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards while creating lasting value for everyone involved.

Your responsibilities

You will lead multidisciplinary engineering and capital projects throughout their complete lifecycle, including:

• Managing projects from concept, feasibility and engineering through procurement, installation, construction and commissioning.
• Acting as the primary interface between customers, engineering teams, contractors and suppliers.
• Delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Anticipating technical, organisational and resource challenges before they impact project execution.
• Developing practical mitigation strategies and maintaining project momentum.
• Managing stakeholder expectations and resolving conflicts with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Driving collaboration across international and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supporting commercial activities, planning and resource management.
• Identifying opportunities to improve project delivery through innovation, digitalisation and continuous improvement.
• Taking ownership beyond your formal responsibilities whenever necessary to ensure project success.

What we’re looking for

Experience

You bring approximately 8 years or more of project management experience within technical, engineering, industrial or infrastructure-related environments. Your experience includes:

• Delivering projects through both engineering/design and field execution phases.
• Managing installation, construction and commissioning activities.
• Leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Managing customer relationships in technically demanding environments.
• Delivering complex projects with strong commercial awareness.

Experience within the Life Sciences industry is essential, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology or other GMP-regulated environments.

Languages

You communicate confidently in international environments.

• Required: Fluent English and fluent German.
• An advantage: French, Italian or any additional European language.

Mobility

Our projects are delivered across Europe. This role therefore requires a willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and to work in different cultural and operational environments as projects demand.
