SwissTechNova GmbH (hereinafter “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit https://swisstechnova.ch or contact us through our online services.
This policy is prepared in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nRevDSG, in force since 1 September 2023) and, where applicable to our visitors, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Personal Data We Collect
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including: name, company name, email address, telephone number, project information, and any other information included in your message.
We also collect certain technical information automatically when you visit our website: browser type and version, device information and operating system, referring website, pages visited and time spent, date and time of access, and IP address (anonymised within Google Analytics before processing).
4. Contact Forms
Our website uses ShiftPress's built-in form functionality. When you submit a contact form:
- your information is securely transmitted through ShiftPress;
- ShiftPress delivers the submission to our company mailbox (hosted on Microsoft 365);
- we use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and provide our services.
We do not use contact form data for automated profiling or marketing without your explicit consent.
5. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- Responding to enquiries and providing services — legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests;
- Website analytics and improvement — legal basis: consent (analytics cookies, activated only after your agreement);
- Secure website operation — legal basis: legitimate interests;
- Compliance with legal obligations — legal basis: legal obligation.
6. Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics collects anonymised statistical data including: number of visitors, pages viewed, time spent on pages, traffic sources, approximate geographic location, and device types.
Analytics is only activated after you have given your consent through our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time using our Cookie Declaration page.
Google processes data on servers in the United States. Google LLC participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for Swiss visitors, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses (SCCs) recognised by the Swiss FDPIC. More information: policies.google.com/privacy
7. Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager to manage and deploy the Google Analytics script. Google Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data. It serves as a controlled mechanism to activate analytics only upon your consent, without any tracking scripts firing before that point.
8. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies. A full inventory of all cookies in use, together with controls to manage your preferences, is available on our Cookie Declaration page.
In brief: we use one strictly necessary localStorage item (sp_consent) to remember your consent choice, and — only with your consent — Google Analytics cookies. You can update your preferences at any time: Cookie Settings
9. Typefaces and Fonts
This website uses typefaces served from our own hosting infrastructure. No connection is made to external font services when you load the site, and no personal data is transmitted through font loading.
10. Web Hosting
Our website is hosted by ShiftPress (shiftpress.ai), a managed website platform that provides the technical infrastructure for content delivery and form submission handling. When you visit the site, ShiftPress may process technical data (IP address, browser information, server logs) as necessary for secure operation. More information: shiftpress.ai/legal/privacy
11. Recipients of Personal Data
Your personal data may be processed by the following service providers acting on our behalf:
- ShiftPress — website hosting and form processing;
- Microsoft — email services (Microsoft 365);
- Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
These providers process data only to the extent necessary to provide their services. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
12. International Data Transfers
Some service providers process data outside Switzerland or the EEA. Transfers are governed by: Google LLC (EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and SCCs for Swiss law); Microsoft (standard contractual clauses); ShiftPress (see shiftpress.ai/legal/privacy). All transfers comply with applicable Swiss and EU data protection requirements.
13. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to respond to requests, provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention periods configured in the Analytics property (default: 14 months). Contact form submissions are held in our mailbox for as long as needed to manage the client relationship.
14. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law (nRevDSG and, where applicable, GDPR), you have the right to: access your personal data; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@swisstechnova.ch.
If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) at edoeb.admin.ch, or with the data protection authority in your EU country of residence.
15. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. While no online service can guarantee absolute security, we continuously maintain a high standard of information security.
16. Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including our LinkedIn company page. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites and encourage you to review their policies separately.
